PKSHA Technology Inc. has announced the launch of "PKSHA AI Agents," a new service where AI can autonomously perform tasks based on the company’s existing AI solutions and SaaS offerings. PKSHA, known for providing AI that understands human language and supports business tasks, is now evolving these into more active AI agents that can handle broader and more complex operations.
Currently, over 7,000 AI agents are already in operation across all 47 prefectures in Japan, making PKSHA AI Agents the most widely deployed domestic AI agent. The company also plans to expand into areas such as human resources and sales, with more details to be announced ahead of the new corporate structure scheduled for July 2025.
The service is powered by recent advancements in AI, including large language models (LLMs) and generative AI, which allow AI to understand user goals and autonomously manage tasks. These AI agents can help with complex operations like scheduling and information gathering, improving both individual and corporate productivity.
With a strong foundation in natural language processing, PKSHA is already providing services to over 70% of Japan’s top 100 companies by market value. Moving forward, the company aims to introduce AI agents in various areas such as contact centers, sales, recruitment, and knowledge management to realize its mission of enabling human-AI co-evolution.
CEO Katsunari Uenoyama stated that AI is becoming more than just a tool—it is evolving into a "software of the future" that supports individuals and contributes to society as a whole. PKSHA will continue to push AI development to help solve societal challenges.
